Bookkit provides different tools to communicate efficiently and easy with lab members. Situations like instrument break downs, cancellations, or any other important informations can be either delivered via the integrated messaging tool, the possibility to create notes and the announcement features.
Messaging & Notes
Leave notes on specific bookings to communicate with the laboratory users or provide additional ad-hoc information for a piece of scientific equipment before bookings are made. Additionally, there is a messaging system available to exchange information or files with users from other labs. The conversations can be downloaded as a PDF for your own records.
Announcements can be used to inform users about any lab equipment related events, such as equipment maintenance work, calibrations or breakdowns. Filters such as ‘existing bookings during a certain time period’ or ‘users’ access rights’ help you always announce your news to the relevant or affected audiences. General information such as health and safety concerns or responsibility changes can also be announced to some or all laboratory users.
